GVH Approves Russian Company TTM Acquire 51 pct of Ganz Engineering Environmental

Hungary's Competition Authority approved the acquisition of a 51 pct stake in nuclear power station equipment manufacturer Ganz Engineering Kornyezetvedelmi by a unit of Russia's state-owned Rosatom.

 

Hungary's Competition Authority (GHV) on October 21st 2008 said that it had approved the acquisition of a 51 pct stake in nuclear power station equipment manufacturer Ganz Engineering Kornyezetvedelmi (Ganz EK) by TTM, a unit of Russia's state-owned Rosatom.

GVH said the acquisition will not have an adverse effect on competition. 

TTM purchased the stake in Ganz EK from its sole owner Ganz Gepgyar Holding.

TTM and Ganz Gepgyar Holding signed the purchase agreement on July 24, 2008.
