Becton Dickinson Syringe Plant Start Operations in January 2010

American Becton Dickinson starts to produce disposable syringes in Tatabanya, West Hungary in 2010.

The value of the project is around EUR 100 million and will raise the present number of employees from 70 to 500. The company told MTI Econews that they chose Tatabanya because the targeted markets are in the vicinity of the region.
