Among global MICE destinations, Budapest has been among the top cities for a long time.
The latest (2009) data published by ICCA (the International Congress and Convention Association) shows that Budapest ranked sixth among the most popular conference towns in the world in 2008.
This achievement can be attributed to Hungary's positive image, high quality accommodation facilities, and also to its experienced program organizers. According to ICCA data, Hungary was the 25th on the list of most preferred countries around the world for international business events and conferences in 2008.
