Producer Price Level of Agricultural Products Decreases by 4.1pct

In March 2010, the producer price level of agricultural products decreased by 4.1pct on the corresponding period of the previous year.

More specifically, the price level of crops and horticultural products went down by 5.4pct, while that of live animals and animal products decreased by 1.9pct.
In January–March 2010, the producer price level of agricultural products rose by 0.2pct, which resulted from the price increase of crops and horticultural products by 1.8pct and the price decrease of live animals and animal products by 2.3pct. In the first quarter, the input price level of agricultural production decreased by 0.7pct compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
