Qatar Airways is launching flights to Budapest. The renowned five-star airline will fly four times a week between Budapest and Doha, the capital of Qatar, from January 2011. For onward journeys, passengers will be able to reach numerous Asian and Australian destinations with just one stop after departing from Budapest.
Qatar Airways is the first of the large Arabian carriers to opt for a service to the East-Central Europe region. As of January 17 next year, passengers will be able to fly from Budapest to Doha, with a brief stop on the return leg in Bucharest, which will also further enhance aerial relations with Hungary’s eastern neighbor.
