Government to Launch Consultations on New Széchenyi Development Plan

The government is to launch a series of consultations, presenting the outlines of the new Széchenyi plan – the government's new development plan – at a meeting of entrepreneurs.

The government is to launch a series of consultations on the new Széchenyi Development Plan, Minister of the National Economy György Matolcsy said in Budapest on July 28, presenting the outlines of the new Széchenyi plan – the government's new development plan – at a meeting of entrepreneurs. They plan will be finalized after a long series of consultations.
The new Széchenyi Plan will cover the period until 2020 and its objective is to create 1 million new jobs. The program is scheduled to start on January 15, 2011 and includes 7 priority programs. The new Széchenyi plan is part of a longer plan by which Hungary aims to surpass the EU average in terms of economic development by 2030.
