The Trade Balance Showed a Surplus of EUR 2,245 Million in January–May

The trade balance showed a surplus of EUR 2,245 million (HUF 605 billion), which is higher by EUR 844 million (HUF 186 billion) than one year earlier.

Over the course of January–May 2010, the volume of exports and imports increased by 17 and 15 pct, respectively, compared to the same period of the previous year.
In HUF terms, exports rose by 9.6 pct, and imports were up by 7.3 pct. The growth rates in EUR were 19 and 16 pct, respectively.
