TRV Doubles Capacity at Tisza Waste-management Plant

The regional waterworks company TRV is planning to double the original capacity of its waste-management plant at Lake Tisza from 1,100 cubic meters to 2,200.

This will be achieved at a cost of HUF 618 million, CEO Attila Racz announced in Kiskore on September 9. Hungary's Environmental and Energy Operative Program has invested HUF 511 million, with the remainder coming from TRV's own funds, Mr Racz said.
TRV has find on a number of occasions since 2002 for allowing water pollution to occur, and has been subject to a court decision to stop issuing excessive waste.
The annual revenue of TRV is HUF 2 billion.
